As a therapist it is my role to support your journey, provide you with tools to navigate life’s challenges and to celebrate your wins with you.
I believe in my clients’ abilities to help themselves reach their goals with gentle guidance and unconditional compassion from me. I want to help you find peace in a healing and accepting space. I am an anti-diet, anti-oppression, body supportive provider. I have a passion for working with clients seeking support in the following areas: body image concerns, eating disorders (all diagnoses), ADHD, ASD, chronic illnesses, anxiety, depression and LGBTQ+ care.
Training and Education:
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Miami University and a Masters’ degree in Social Work with a focus in Mental Health and Substance Use from Ohio State University.
I have worked in various levels of care specializing in eating disorder treatment and co-occurring diagnoses with clients between the ages of 11-60+. My experience includes working with clients of diverse backgrounds and complex life circumstances.
I utilize an eclectic, client-centered and collaborative approach in my therapeutic style. Modalities I frequently include in treatment:
