Monica Badea

Licensed social worker (she/her)

I am passionate about empowering clients in their self-worth and helping them build confidence in their ability to manage challenging situations.

My priority is to create a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where individuals feel safe to be themselves. I like to build upon the pre-existing strengths individuals inherently have, promoting hope and resilience as they overcome various challenges. I have a strong background working with children and families from diverse backgrounds, specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, problematic sexual behavior, family conflict, grief, disruptive behaviors, and anger.

Outside of the office you can find me enjoying the outdoors through hikes and camping, playing basketball and sand volleyball, or simply spending quality time with friends and family. Self-care is a habit I try to practice as much as I preach!
